Location- Koppal & Kanakagiri (Karnataka)
Experience- Min. +8 yrs as a Civil Site Incharge on solar project (283 MW).
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop a detailed plan
for civil construction activities. This includes creating project schedules, determining resource
requirements, and establishing project milestones.
Site Preparation: Ensure that the project site is properly prepared for construction activities.This
involves coordinating activities such as site clearance, leveling, and soil testing to ensure a solid
foundation for the solar plant.
Construction Supervision: Oversee the construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is
carried out according to approved designs, specifications, and safety standards. Monitor the
progress of construction tasks, resolve any issues or conflicts that arise, and make necessary
adjustments to the construction plan as required.
Quality Control: Implement uality control measures to ensure that all civil works meet the
required standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify
compliance, and address any non-compliance or deficiencies promptly.
Material Management: Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and storage of construction
materials required for civil works. Maintain inventory records, track material usage, and ensure
that the right materials are available when needed.
Contractor Management: Supervise and manage the work of contractors and subcontractors
involved in civil construction activities. Provide guidance, instructions, and support to
contractors, and monitor their performance to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the safety regulations and
guidelines. Conduct regular safety inspections, promote a safety culture among workers, and
take necessary actions to mitigate potential risks or hazards.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including
daily progress reports, material usage, manpower allocation, and any incidents or delays.
Prepare regular reports summarizing the project’s status and communicate updates to the project
management team.
Coordination with Stakeholders: Collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders, such as
electrical engineers, project managers, and environmental consultants, to ensure seamless
integration of civil construction activities with other project components.
Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the
construction phase. Analyze problems, propose solutions, and coordinate with relevant parties
to implement corrective measures.
