    Power Plant Industry

    Profile – Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Metal Power Plant)

    Qualification – BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Electrical &Electronics Engg +( 11KV HT Supervisor License holder*)

    Salary – Upto 4.8 LAC ( including food + accommodation)

    Experience – Min. 6+yrs. as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Power Plant. (Must experience in Ferro Alloys plant)

    Location – *Sesa (Goa)

    Role & responsibilities

    Regularly inspect and assess the condition of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
    Conduct routine testing and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
    Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
    Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, tightening connections, and replacing worn-out components.
    Diagnose and repair electrical equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
    Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure swift repairs and minimal downtime.
    Ensure that all electrical equipment and systems adhere to safety standards and regulations.
    Conduct safety inspections and address any electrical safety-related issues.
    Conduct testing, calibration, and adjustment of instruments and control systems to maintain accurate and reliable measurements and control.
    Respond to electrical emergencies, such as equipment failures or electrical faults, to minimize downtime and ensure plant safety.
    Maintain an inventory of spare electrical parts and components.
    Order and procure spare parts as needed and keep track of their usage.
    Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition.
    Generate maintenance reports and provide updates to management.
    Train and supervise maintenance technicians and staff in proper electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
    Develop and manage reliability programs to assess the performance and lifespan of electrical equipment and predict maintenance needs.
    Ensure that electrical systems comply with environmental regulations and standards, such as emissions control and pollution control systems.
    Assist in the development of maintenance budgets and monitor expenses to control costs.
    Investigate the root causes of electrical equipment failures and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
    Coordinate with vendors and contractors for electrical equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective service.
    Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering and power plant technology to implement best practices.
