Job Description
Conduct site visits and assess environmental conditions to determine the suitability of the location for a solar installation. This includes evaluating factors like shading, orientation, and roof or ground structural integrity.
Use software tools (like PVsyst, AutoCAD, or Helioscope) to create preliminary system designs and estimate the expected energy yield based on local solar radiation data.
Develop comprehensive system designs, including electrical and structural plans. This involves specifying the type and arrangement of solar panels, inverters, and other components.
Create detailed electrical diagrams and layout drawings to illustrate the configuration of the solar array and its integration with existing electrical systems.Choose appropriate solar panels based on performance, cost, and site-specific factors.
Determine the best inverter for the system, considering factors like efficiency, compatibility with the chosen panels, and grid requirements.
Calculate and design the cable layout to ensure efficient and safe power transmission with minimal losses.
