Deputy Manager Accounts (exp. in export & import/Manufacturing exp)
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Accounts to manage accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance activities within an electronic manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to manufacturing accounting and export-import transactions, with the ability to manage financial operations accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the organization.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables.
- Manage accounting activities related to manufacturing operations.
- Handle accounting and documentation related to export and import transactions.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, customers, and vendors.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing-related financial data.
- Identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of manufacturing accounting and costing.
- Knowledge of export-import accounting and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Good understanding of financial controls and audit processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA/CA Inter/M.Com qualification will be an advantage, depending on the role requirements.
- Relevant experience in accounts and finance within a manufacturing organization.
- Experience handling export and import accounting/transactions will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
- Ability to independently manage accounting activities and meet reporting deadlines.
