Chartered Accountant (Manufacturing industry exp)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee financial management, accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial planning for a metal recycling organization. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to support strategic business decisions through accurate financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall accounting and finance functions of the organization.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, budgets, and financial reports.
- Oversee financial planning, cash flow management, and working capital.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GST, income tax, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, tax, and other audits.
- Monitor financial controls and strengthen accounting processes.
- Analyze profitability, costs, margins, and business performance.
- Manage manufacturing-related costing, inventory accounting, and financial analysis.
- Support management in strategic financial and business decisions.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, customers, and vendors.
- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Ensure timely closing and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Develop and implement effective financial control systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial management and accounting expertise.
- Excellent knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance and costing.
- Knowledge of metal recycling/scrap industry financial operations will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning skills.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Relevant post-qualification experience in finance and accounts.
- Strong experience in a manufacturing/industrial organization.
- Experience in metal recycling, metals, steel, scrap, or related industries will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, income tax, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, and working capital management.
- Ability to independently manage the finance and accounting function.
