Site Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate MEP site activities. The candidate will be responsible for supervising installation and execution work, coordinating with contractors and project teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day MEP activities at project sites.
- Monitor installation and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review technical drawings and coordinate with relevant teams for execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical or execution-related issues.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure availability at site.
- Prepare daily and periodic site progress reports.
- Monitor manpower deployment and work allocation.
- Resolve site-level technical and coordination issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Maintain proper site documentation and records.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and site execution.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and layouts.
- Strong site supervision and project coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of construction and installation practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering software.
- Ability to manage contractors and site manpower.
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and project timelines.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in MEP/site engineering.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision and project execution.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Good understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, and installation procedures.
- Willingness to work at project sites in Bhopal, Ahmedabad, or Mumbai.
- Ability to travel or relocate according to project requirements.
