Overview
Costing & Budgeting Executive
We are looking for a detail-oriented Costing & Budgeting Executive to support financial planning, project costing, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis within the renewable power industry. The candidate will work closely with finance, procurement, project execution, and management teams to monitor costs, analyze variances, and support profitability improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project-wise cost sheets.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, project budgets, and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual costs against approved budgets.
- Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and identify cost deviations.
- Track project-wise expenses, revenue, margins, and profitability.
- Monitor procurement, material, manpower, and project execution costs.
- Support management in project feasibility and profitability analysis.
- Prepare MIS reports related to costing, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with finance, procurement, project, and operations teams for accurate cost data.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
- Monitor budget utilization and highlight potential cost overruns.
- Maintain accurate costing and budgeting records for management review.

Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA Finance/M.Com/CA Inter/CMA qualification will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in costing, budgeting, financial analysis, or MIS.
- Experience in renewable power, solar, wind, EPC, or project-based industries will be preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
