We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Head to lead and manage all electrical maintenance activities in a steel manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring maximum equipment uptime, minimizing breakdowns, and maintaining safe and efficient electrical operations across the plant.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Lead the electrical maintenance team for smooth plant operations.
Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure maximum availability of critical equipment like:
Furnaces
Rolling mills
Transformers
Motors & Drives (VFDs, PLCs, SCADA systems)
Monitor and reduce downtime through root cause analysis (RCA).
Implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
Manage power distribution systems (HT/LT panels, substations).
Coordinate with production, mechanical, and quality teams.
Maintain documentation, reports, and audit records.
Handle vendor management and spare parts planning.
Lead energy optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
