Manufacturing Industry
Profile – Electro Plating Manager
Qualification – Diploma/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
Experience – Min 5+ yrs of hands-on experience in electroplating within the jewelry manufacturing industry.
Salary – Upto 7 LPA
Location – Sitapura (Jaipur)
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision and Leadership, Lead and supervise a team of plating technicians, ensuring they adhere to production schedules and quality standards, Maintain cleanness in the plant, power handling very well.
* Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members on plating processes and safety protocols.
* Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address issues, and provide feedback.
* Document processes and generate reports for comparison before and after improvements.
* Ensure the upkeeping of the equipment’s and related machines including the spectrometer etc.
* discuss/negotiate/connect with vendors and third-party suppliers for trouble shooting of equipment’s and awareness on modern technologies.
* Propose plans, budgets and timelines for any kind of expansion in Plating dept.
* Adhere to international standards and bench mark the same in terms plating output quality.
* Safety as topmost priority. Growing and managing a professional, respectful, honest, and comfortable culture Supervise the work of technologists, technicians, and other engineers and scientists.
* The Jeweler Plating Department Supervisor oversees the plating operations within the jewelry manufacturing process.

KEY SKILLS:
1. should have knowledge of automating gold and silver plant operating.
2. Chemical Handling of titration and analytical instruments.
3. Ensure the Rhodium, Yellow Gold plating /Rose Gold plating baths preparation and maintain the same.
4. Chemical processing lab of vacuum Electron Device’s Fabrication Facility” on chemical treatment of various parts & assemblies of Microwave devices including Decreasing, chemical cleaning, Nickel Plating, Gold Plating, Chemical etching, Electro Polishing preparation of different chemical solution.
5. Standardize processes, reduce the overall cost of the manufacturing process by wastage control.
6. Optimal Usage of plating Chemicals and eliminates wastage and should control the plating costs within the budgets.
7. Ensure MSDS for all chemicals using in the factories.
8. manages a team of plating technicians, coordinates plating activities, and ensures timely delivery of plated jewelry pieces.
9. glassware and wafer cleaning and Material testing through chemical processes. Disposal of used chemical Handling of analytical instruments etc.
