Job Description
● Conduct market research physically and/or online to identify and onboard relevant vendors.
● Evaluate potential vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
● Furnish Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) to vendors.
● Prepare comparative statements to facilitate informed decision-making.
● Negotiate with vendors to secure the best value for the enterprise.
● Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
● Ensure timely release of Purchase Orders (PO) and Work Orders (WO).
● Facilitate the signing of POs and WOs by the reporting manager in a timely manner.
● Proactively follow through the procurement process to ensure timely delivery and mobilization.
● Take ownership of the entire procurement process, from initiation to completion.
● Timely and accurately report the progress of procurement activities to the reporting manager.
● Report any issues in advance, providing sufficient time for the reporting manager and senior management to prepare action plans.
