Job Description –
Hands on working with the manufacturing team building and machining processes. Oversees daily work of employees, creates and manages employee schedule
Recruits and hires new shop employees
Provides employee training
Warns, disciplines, or terminates employees not working to company standards.
Plans the assembly plan for all projects much prior as per project deadlines.
Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards and delivered with within budget
Enforces all health and safety policies in the shop, including ensuring that shop area is clean & organized.
Possesses solid analytical and problem-solving abilities to assists engineers and project managers to addresses and resolves design & customer issues.
Maintains tooling and consumables to the necessary quantities to support workload
Possesses detailed knowledge of manufacturing.
Has basic computer skills.
Updates Project log-book with any additional work added to manufacturing scope.
Supports engineering and drafting with correct manufacturing standards and procedures. • Understands the concept of machine design and automation lines
Performs mechanical testing, which includes ensuring all components are assembled as per General Arrangement drawing ensure they are mounted correctly and to industry standard.
