Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing & Procurement Specialist for the jewelry industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and sourcing essential materials such as Consumable item, Machine parts, Chemical, IT Systems, stones, diamonds, and other required components to complete jewelry production. This role involves market research, vendor negotiations, purchasing, and ensuring timely availability of all necessary materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and procure all essential materials required for jewelry production, including big stones, diamonds, and other components.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
• Findings & Material Selection: Research and select high-quality findings to complete jewelry pieces.
• Inventory Management: Ensure proper stock levels and maintain a smooth supply chain.
• Quality Control: Verify and inspect materials to meet design and production standards.
• Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, pricing, and availability of jewelry materials.
• Purchase Coordination: Work closely with designers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in the jewelry industry , specifically in sourcing and purchasing.
• Strong understanding of stones, diamonds, findings, and jewelry components.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to identify high-quality materials at competitive prices.
• Knowledge of market trends and supplier networks.
