Qualification – Diploma- Fire & Safety
Experience – Min 2 to 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a manufacturing or industrial plant.Proven exposure to safety management and fire handling operations.

Role Overview
The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies, fire prevention systems, and statutory compliance within the manufacturing plant. The role ensures a safe working environment by promoting safety culture, conducting inspections, and managing fire and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
Implement and monitor plant safety policies, procedures, and systems.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across plant operations.
Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
Fire Safety & Emergency Handling
Ensure proper installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire fighting equipment (hydrants, sprinklers, extinguishers, alarms).
Conduct fire safety drills, mock drills, and emergency response exercises.
Actively participate in fire handling and emergency situations.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Factory Act, OSHA, local safety regulations, and statutory norms.
Maintain safety documentation, registers, permits, and records.
Coordinate with government authorities and third-party auditors during inspections.
Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction and refresher training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs.
Promote safety culture and safe work practices on the shop floor.
Incident Management
Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
Prepare incident reports and implement corrective actions.
Track safety KPIs and submit periodic safety reports.
