Profile – Shift Incharge (Metal Power Plant)-4
Qualification – B.Tech-Mechanical, Metallurgy
Salary – Upto 7 LAC ( including food + accommodation)
Experience – Min. 6+yrs. in Shift Incharge in metal, foundry, casting industry.
Location – Sesa (Goa)
Role & responsibilities
Organize and manage the activities of the shift, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
Supervise and lead a team of operators, technicians, and other staff during the assigned shift.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to the team members and ensure they are adequately trained for their roles.
Enforce and promote safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct regular safety meetings and drills to raise awareness of safety procedures.
Monitor and control the various processes within the plant to ensure they are operating efficiently and meeting quality standards.
Troubleshoot and address any operational issues or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
Oversee the quality control measures to ensure that the metal production meets the required quality standards.
Implement quality checks at different stages of the production process and take corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure regular maintenance and servicing of plant equipment to minimize breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of operational data, production outputs, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
Prepare daily shift reports summarizing production, incidents, and other relevant information for management.
Communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and plant management to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities between shifts.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and address cross-functional issues.
Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest procedures and technologies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards governing the operation of the metal power plant.
Optimize the use of resources, such as manpower, raw materials, and energy, to achieve production targets while minimizing costs.
Make informed decisions quickly and effectively, especially in high-pressure situations, to maintain operations and resolve any issues that arise during the shift.
