Substation O&M Industry
Profile – Substation O&M Senior Engg
Qualification – B.Tech / Diploma- EE , EEE , EI
Salary – Upto 6 Lac CTC + accommodation + TA
Location- Fatehgarh- Jaisalmer (Rajasthan)
Experience – Min. 6+ yrs in min. 400KV substation O&M department.
Key Responsibilities –
Conduct regular inspections of transmission lines to identify and address potential issues, such as wear and tear, corrosion, and structural damage.
Develop maintenance plans and schedules for transmission line components, ensuring that preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently.
Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems affecting transmission line components, including transformers, insulators, conductors, and substation equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines to minimize risks to personnel and the public during maintenance activities.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspection findings, and equipment conditions. Generate reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
Participate in equipment upgrade and replacement projects, assisting in the selection and installation of new components to enhance transmission line efficiency.
Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages and storm damage, to restore electrical transmission as quickly as possible.
Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to optimize transmission line maintenance procedures and drive continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with industry standards and regulatory changes, ensuring that all maintenance activities align with legal requirements.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in electrical transmission line maintenance.
