Job Description
You oversee the receiving, handling, and storage of materials and components needed for production. This involves coordinating with suppliers, checking incoming materials for quality and quantity, and ensuring timely delivery to production lines.
You maintain accurate inventory records of WIP materials and products. This includes tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies. You ensure that inventory levels are sufficient to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock and waste.
You provide support to production teams by ensuring that WIP materials and components are readily available when needed. You coordinate with production supervisors to prioritize material flow and address any shortages or delays that may impact production schedules.You oversee the issuance of materials and components to production lines according to production schedules and work orders. You ensure that materials are issued in the correct quantities and specifications to avoid production delays or errors.
