Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the overall business operations and growth of a leading organization in the Metal Recycling Industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in metal recycling, scrap processing, metals, manufacturing, or related industrial sectors, with a strong track record of driving business growth, profitability, operational excellence, and organizational development.
The CEO will be responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction, strengthening operational performance, developing business opportunities, managing key stakeholders, and building a high-performance leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s overall business strategy, vision, and long-term growth plans.
- Lead end-to-end business operations across manufacturing, metal recycling, procurement, sales, finance, and support functions.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable business expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, customers, partnerships, and strategic investments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, investors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement and sourcing strategies for scrap metal and other raw materials.
- Ensure efficient plant operations, production planning, quality management, and cost optimization.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business targets across functions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, safety, statutory, regulatory, and industry requirements.
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and overall business performance management.
- Build, mentor, and manage a strong senior management and leadership team.
- Evaluate market trends, commodity prices, industry developments, and competitive activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the organization in high-level meetings, industry forums, strategic negotiations, and business discussions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field will be preferred.
- 20–26 years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in senior leadership positions.
- Proven experience in metal recycling, scrap management, metals, manufacturing, steel, non-ferrous metals, or a closely related industry.
- Prior experience in a CEO, Business Head, Managing Director, COO, or equivalent senior leadership role is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of managing large-scale business operations and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Experience in strategic business planning, P&L management, organizational development, and business expansion.
- Strong understanding of Indian and international metal markets and industry dynamics will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work from/relocate to Hyderabad, Chennai, or Bengaluru, as per business requirements.
